Powerful Technology – Big Impact

BAUMA 2025 in Munich was a great success for Westtech Woodcracker! As the world’s largest trade fair for construction, building materials, and mining machinery, it provided the perfect stage to showcase the latest innovations to an international professional audience.

The highlight at the Westtech booth: the new Woodgripper WG1600 – a powerful 5- or 7 finger-gripper with a 1600 mm opening width, ideal for collecting, loading, and handling logs, branches, and wind-thrown wood. Its strong, synchronously closing gripping fingers, optional saw unit, and the use of Hardox® steel with KTL surface treatment made a big impression on visitors.

Westtech enjoyed a high level of interest throughout the entire event. In addition to in-depth conversations with long-standing partners, many new contacts were established. The positive feedback confirms Westtech’s approach: robust, practical technology that meets the needs of modern forestry and the energy sector.
