Agile and compact: cutting head WOODCRACKER CL190 on a farm loader
Westtech designed a smaller cutting head of the C model range especially for the harvest of small trees and bushes, cutting up to 25 cm in diameter in soft wood. The agile and light-weighted attachement weighing only 210 kg is attachable to small excavators of 2.5 ton net weight or even to farm loaders of known brands.
Farmer and forester Rudolf Kohlberger from Upper Austria also took advantage of this fact to use his farm loader for timber harvest. Mr. Kohlberger was searching for some time to find a simple and safe way to conduct landscape maintenance along the edges of the forest or along field edges, where bushes and shrubbery is growing. Westtech adapted the Woodcracker CL190 to Kohlberger’s existing farm loader. This combination makes a compact and agile tool for quick and safe timber harvest in the agricultural sector.
