On 9th of December, a live demonstration of WESTTECH and the tree care company Gebele took place in marvellous weather. The German company Gebele from Neuburg, which is a professional in land clearing, showed off the powerful WOODCRACKER machines mounted on a Liebherr 932 and a crawler excavator, Liebherr 924.
The new WOODCRACKER® CL190 is the smallest of the C-series cutting heads, but should not be underestimated.
The WOODCRACKER® CS series
In September 2016, the small and compact grapple saw CS 580 “smart” was introduced as an extension of the consisting WOODCRACKER® CS series. The CS 580 “smart” was particularly designed for the attachment to telescopic handlers. The opening width of the gripper is 1250mm, the maximum cutting diameter amount to about 580mm. The machine is endlessly rotatable and the gripper shows significant more gripping force. Due to clever design, the net weight was reduced to a minimum of 850 kg. The flexible cutting head, attached to a telescopic handler, is perfectly suited for swift and simple tree felling as well as for tree care and landscaping, particularly at exposed locations.
- Extremely high gripping force
- Tiltator with potent torque
- Only one double-acting control valve required
- Active spring-loaded saw
- Grease lubrication for chain saw
- Compact design
